It has happened...

We just went to get the kids up from their nap and weirdly enough Eric was not in his bed. So I look from here....to here...
and saw this :

So many things about this situation bother me.

#1 Now that he knows he can get out of there, he will probably do it over and over again.
#2 How weird is it that instead of opening the door and coming to get us, he just climbed into Nick's bed?
#3 How in the crap did he do that!? His crib is the tallest!

Maybe it's getting close to the horribleness of a toddler bed. How do you have 3 kids in a room that are supposed to be sleeping but 2 of them just want to play with toys together? I just can't see how that will work. Meh...oh well.

Oh No! He WILL do it over and over again. Nick looks pretty pleased with it too. Maybe you don't need to buy Liam a crib, just use Eric's. When you got to that state I put your mattress on the floor so you couldn't fall out of bed and hurt yourself. Not sure that would work with 3 kids in the room... pretty sure it wouldn't work.

we had a similar problem. Sort of. Avery never climbed out of the crib when he slept in it. But when we moved Jack to the crib Avery climbed IN, and sleep with Jack.

So we bought a crib tent. It was a life saver. He would wake Jack up, or I'd go to check on them and Avery was sleeping across Jack's face.Very cute, but not great.

Good luck!!
